Wow, it's bene FOREVER since I've posted on here. And to top it off.. tomorrow's already Thanksgiving. I'm on a 4 day break from school. Although it's not as nice as a week, but 4 days is good enough for me. Tomorrow, I'll be going to Pumpkin Center for lunch with my family, then I'll be heading back home to Denham to spend the rest of the night with The Traylors. Then Friday morning, I'll be taking a 6 hour drive to visit my momma. Sadly, my family won't even come. But that's ok. I'm used to being by myself.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?? Me I'm thankful for, my wonderful boyfriend who has been nothing but amazing to me since I've moved to Denham! :) My amazing friends, the true ones, and my family. If it wasn't for any of them, I wouldn't have made it this far at all.
Anywho.. I'm done typing. I just can't seem to make myself write a novel on here anymore. More power to those who can! ;)

Going home...
This weekend i'm heading back home to LC! :) I haven't been home since June. Wow, that's a super long time. Oh well, it's time for a trip and I'm off so why not!
Nicole's getting married in 23 days. So I gotta go get my dress and then i'm sure get it altered and what not. Then my dad's gonna see why my brakes keep screwing up. lol. Just get me a new car (haha, hilarious).

My knight in shining amor...
Yes, that would be my baby Byron! :) He's perfect in so many ways. He makes me feel like I'm falling back in love all over again. It's really that, reach for the stars over the fence world series kinda thing (lol). He makes me laugh by being himself and being crazy. He makes me smile all the time, even when I'm not wanting too. He's there for me, through thick and thin. And that's something that I adore about him. He's my world, best friend, and love of my life. <3 I'm in love!
Now that you know how I feel about my baby, now to things with me. School's going great. Still learning things everyday. I'm still getting used to my routine, but that will soon be alright. I just need to force myself to lay my butt down before 11 o'clock. Then I can get a good nights rest and feel great in the morning. Since were always doing something, the day goes by super fast. :) So hopefully, the year will go by super fast and I can start my career.
I FINALLY got my hair done. I dyed it back brown :) and got it cut. The cut looks much healthier, thank gosh, but as far as the color.. it will take some getting used to. I've had my hair brown before.. but it's always the first week or so that it's a little to dark until you wash and it rinses out. So, whenever that happens, it'll be good. I mean, I just got it done last night.
2 people put in their notice up front. Their tired of the BS. I don't blame them. One girl who's staying is nothing but drama. Seriously. I just found out that shes gonna be staying (she was gonna put in her 2 weeks or she already did or something) and working full time hours. The only way she was gonna stay is if they offered her more money. Which they had to because she's staying. One of the girls who's quitting has been here for 2 years and got a slap-in-the-face-raise. And she's not to happy with how everythings played out. They need to hire more people for our location. My schedule is now Monday & Tuesday-work.. Wednesday-Friday-OFF, and every other Saturday and Sunday. You see, school is coming first now. And I'm focusing on that more than work. If they schedule me too much (which this coming week will drain me) then I'll have to step my foot down AGAIN and say something. I'm not sure why I'm always getting the short end of the stick with this company. Enough is enough. And something will have to change.
Anywho.. I need to finish washing all of my clothes and towels because I won't have time to wash anything until this coming Thursday. Blahh. And I gotta take a bath and get ready to go tanning. Working at noon until close (bummer was supposed to be working 10-7 today, whatev).

Since the last post...
I've started school! :) It's going pretty great. Still getting used to waking up early and getting on a routine. But it'll come. Lol. Dave and Aimee found out their having another baby boy!! And Casey and Haley had baby Hayden on Sept. 22. :D
This weekend my best friend from Lake Charles came in for a visit! She finally has a safe car to get her here! :) Which makes me happy. I haven't seen her since my birthday in June.
Anywho..I need to get off here and get ready for the day. I forgot my password, that's why I haven't updated in a while. But I remembered it and signed on in! Ha.

Seriously? School, already??
I can't believe school's already here. It's crazy but exciting at the same time. I've been waiting for this for a while and tomorrow's the day! I just got back from getting a money order for my start board thingy. Only $10, not bad. Went to 3 different places for it, but that's ok. I ended up getting up stamps while at the post office too.
Still not feeling that much better. I bought some medicine for my congestion, it helps whenever it wants too. But that's how my body always reacts to medicine. Which is why I didn't really go to the doctor. One because when I lose my voice, everytime I go to the Doc they always tell me the same thing, don't talk. I just really have to let whatever I have run it's course. So, I am. But it's making me feel weak and miserable. I'm hoping to feel a little better by tomorrow.
I wanted to hit up Old Navy yesterday, so Byron and I went and they were closed and had like zero clothes on the shelfs. Weird? I was bummed and kinda mad but oh well. We went and ate Chick-fil-a and got a movie at Target. Came back, watched The Hills (well I did, it's my Monday nights people). Byron studied for one of his classes. Then we started watching SemiPro. We got tired before the movie ended so we didn't finish it. Oh well.
Anywho.. I'm gonna get some rest. Have a good one! :)

Demco seriously sucks.
Ok, so before Gustav, we got our Demco bill. Yes, we should have paid it before we left, but seriously when a hurricane is coming, noones gonna stay. Therefore we were not living in our apartment for 10 days and without power. I check the mail tonight, because I went back to work for 2 hours, and saw that they sent us a notice about not paying our bill. On the 17th, if we don't pay them, our electricity will be turned off.
Seriously, I don't have a problem with them sending us that, but considering the fact that we just went through a hurricane, they have the nerve to be bastards about the situation. I'm pretty sure those with entergy don't have the problems we have with Demco. Our power goes off when it's sun shining and nice as all get out outside. One day we were without power for like 4 hours.
